What We Do

The staff of the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Northwest Wisconsin, works with elderly and disabled individuals providing information, assistance and access to services that are available in the community.  (Regardless of income)

The ADRC professionals are highly familiar with all the local community services.  They are able to help you determine which services best meet your, or your loved one’s, needs.

We provide:

  • RESOURCE INFORMATION & ASSISTANCE – Provide information and connect people to the services or resources they need on a variety of topics.
  • LONG TERM CARE OPTIONS/APPLICATIONS – Provide information and assist in applying for programs to fund services.
  • BENEFIT COUNSELING (18 – 59) – Assist with application or appeals for benefits such as Social Security, SSDI, Medicare part D, etc
  • YOUNG DISABLED ADULTS (17YRS 9MOS) – Assist disabled children as they transition into adults.  Link to services, resources and programs in the adult system.
  • ADVOCACY – Inform people of their rights and responsibilities and guide them through complaint processes.
